Forget Me Notts @ Beeches Community Centre

Rural Bassetlaw Befriending and the group we will be with is Tuxford and district Forget Me Notts They provide Crafts and Laughs TLC and tea and biscuits and activities for people with memory problems or who are feeling uncertain about their world, for supporters and carers. This is an open meeting and display of art at Beeches Community Centre, all welcome

From a milk pram to a knife grinder’s barrow, this collection of old handcarts and rare hand pushed vehicles is an unusual view of our social history on wheels and dates back to around 1840.

Can't Sing, Won't Sing Workshop @ St Nicholas Church

A fun and friendly singing workshop for all abilities and ages. Taught by Angharad Lewis, born in Australia of Welsh parentage and completed a Bachelor of Music (Performance) degree at the University of Western Australia and a Diploma of Opera at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music studying as a Soprano. During this time she performed as Susanna & Countess (Marriage of Figaro), Mabel (Pirates of Penzance) and a staged production of Carmina Burana (Coro Piccolo) with the Australian Ballet Company in the Sydney Opera House. Angharad also participated in masterclasses with Richard Bonynge, Patrick Summers, Jan Hendrik-Rootering and Christopher Hogwood.
